This is the first of very few Ducati 1199 Superleggeras to hit Perth streets. Only 500 of these amazing machines were produced worldwide with only a handful making it to Western Australia.
They are the pinnacle of Ducati engineering, producing 200hp to propel a 155kg motorbike. You can read more about the details and specs here.

This weekend just gone I flew over to Alice Springs to meet up with a few supercars (transported there on a truck) and their owners, same sort of idea as the previous times we went out there in 2005/6/7.
I think we covered about 2000km in the 3 days of driving and saw some amazing sites along the way – Alice Springs, Ayers Rock, The Olgas and Kings Canyon. Different place/hotel every night so we covered quite a bit of ground.
The roads out there vary a little but for the most part they are amazing and make for some great high speed driving.
Enough talking, here are some pics – obviously not a photoshoot as it was more just snapshots of the road trip along the way but I think they turned out quite well.
