What to Expect From a Professional Automotive Photoshoot

Every photoshoot is approached with the same level of care and attention to detail, whether it’s for a private owner or a business.

This is not a quick driveway shoot. Each session is planned to suit the vehicle, location and intended use of the images.

Typical shoots include:

  • Carefully chosen locations (urban, industrial, coastal or natural settings)

  • Considered angles, reflections and lighting to suit the vehicle

  • Professional-grade equipment and controlled shooting techniques

  • Detailed post-production and retouching

  • A curated selection of high-resolution images for personal or promotional use

The focus is always on quality over quantity — delivering strong, distinct images rather than large numbers of repetitive photos.

Experience Matters

Cars are complex, highly reflective subjects that require experience to photograph well. Paint colour, light conditions, angles and surroundings all have a significant impact on the final result.

With over 15 years of experience in automotive photography, I’ve worked with private collectors, workshops, dealerships and manufacturers, and bring that same level of professionalism to every shoot.

Important Notes

  • Vehicles should be clean and presentation-ready on the day of the shoot

  • Shoots are planned around suitable light and conditions
