This was the last trackday of the year held for Barbagallo customers at the Barbagallo Raceway - the weather was perfect so there was a great turnout. Local boy Daniel Ricciardo , Toro Rosso F1 driver, even made an appearance which was a pleasant surprise.
The Panigale is the newest superbike from Ducati and this was one of the first to be delivered in Perth. I met up with the owner in an underground carpark in the city and was very pleased with the results. I shot these using a Canon 5D2, 70-200 and a couple of strobes.
This was the first Ferrari 458 Spider to be delivered in Perth. I was commissioned by the owner to document the entire process.
First up was the pre-delivery detail which was carried out over 2 days by Adam at OCDetailing.
The day after this was completed we got to share the owners excitement when he saw his new car for the first time at Barbagallo.
The following weekend I took an early morning drive with the owner to a location south of Perth for a full photoshoot.
Here are a few shots from my recent trip to the FMG site at Christmas Creek. I was there to take photos of the staff and equipment for one of my mining clients. All shot with a Canon 5D2, 17-40L and 430EX in some instances.
This is a car I was really excited about and it didn't disappoint during our afternoon at the RAC track with it. "Our" BMW 1M Coupe came in the stunning Valencia Orange colour which came up nicely in the bright sunlight of a steaming hot December day. To help overcome the sun I hired a Elinchrom Ranger RX with matching heads from the guys at Camera Electronic.
I have recently returned from the Asia-Pacific launch of the new flagship supercar from Lamborghini - the Aventador. The event was held at the Sepang F1 circuit over two days. Many thanks to Lamborghini for the opportunity and hosting a brilliant event.

This weekend just gone I flew over to Alice Springs to meet up with a few supercars (transported there on a truck) and their owners, same sort of idea as the previous times we went out there in 2005/6/7.
I think we covered about 2000km in the 3 days of driving and saw some amazing sites along the way – Alice Springs, Ayers Rock, The Olgas and Kings Canyon. Different place/hotel every night so we covered quite a bit of ground.
The roads out there vary a little but for the most part they are amazing and make for some great high speed driving.
Enough talking, here are some pics – obviously not a photoshoot as it was more just snapshots of the road trip along the way but I think they turned out quite well.

The highlight of my 4-week trip across urope with the guys from Car Advice had to be the stop in Sweden to visit Koenigsegg - makers of the CCX. Over two days we had the opportunity to tour the workshop and see how these amazing cars are built, and then unleash the CCX on their private test track (an old airport).

My best mate and I returned last weekend from a 5 week roadtrip that took us all the way across the USA in a 2008 Chevrolet Corvette.
We flew into NY for 4 days then down to Miami where we rented the car from Hertz for the following 30 days. Our chariot came equipped with a 6.2L V8, 430hp and paddle shift 'box - great fun!
From there we travelled through Key West, Orlando, New Orleans, Houston, San Antonio, Dallas, Oklahoma, Santa Fe, Denver, Pikes Peak, Aspen, Flagstaff, Las Vegas, San Diego, San Francisco before finishing up in LA.
We did a total of 10,500km in the Corvette, stayed in 17 different hotels and were absolutely shattered by the end of it. But worth every cent and minute, best 5 weeks of my life. Experienced so many different cultures, climates, food and people in such a short time.
