Kia Motors Australia got in touch recently to organise a shoot of the local Kia dealer (Joe Crisafio in Osborne Park). They needed some material for use in internal communications, with the focus being on Joe himself and the facility/signage.

I first shot this Ferrari Challenge Stradale about 9 months ago but for various reasons wasn't able to get any rig shots of the car at that time. So this past weekend the owner and I finally managed to catch up early in the morning to add a couple of motion photos to the set.
I have included some shots from the original shoot in this gallery also.
Now that the article/photos have been published in todays West Australian newspaper I can share some of the images from the day.
Alex Forrest (journalist) and I were invited to Barbagallo Raceway to take part in the Lamborghini Driving Academy. The manufacturer flew staff and 4 cars (3 Aventadors and a Gallardo "pace car") to Perth for the event which aims to teach owners and media how to drive these supercars fast but also safely.

I caught up with the SP Racing Team recently for a photoshoot of their two supersport bikes. They had just come from the panel shop with fresh paint and stickers so it was a perfect time to photograph them. Unfortunately the bikes had already competed in Round 1 of the championship (which they won!) so the tyres weren't new and shiny.
Round 2 is this Sunday 30th June at Barbagallo Raceway so get out there and support them!
A few shots from the AMS trackday I attended last week - the star of the showing obviously being the AMS sponsored Ferrari 458 Challenge out for its first run in WA.
After the recent launch event for the exciting new Exige S from Lotus we finally had the chance for a road test and photoshoot.
Although it was only a short drive along a favourite test route it was enough to highlight what an amazing car it is.

Over recent months I have been continually shooting the product range for a auto electrical client of mine. The catalogues have been printed which is a nice feeling after such a long project.
When we got given the new Range Rover to test for a week we decided to take it to the Powerlines - a popular 4WDing destination in Perth which runs from Mundaring to York. As you would expect most of the people out there were shocked to see a $200K+ luxury SUV being tested in this way! It did amazingly well and there really isn't much which you can fault this car about - if you had to live with one car only it would be hard to go past. On Friday night Barbagallo held a launch event for the all new Lotus Exige S. A number of media and Lotus owners were invited for the fully catered event for their first look at the exciting new sports car. Lotus Australia Brand Manager, Alastair Manihera, was also on hand to talk about the car and the direction of the company.
The 2013 Exige S lands in Australia with a price tag of $119,990 and is powered by a supercharged 3.5L V6 delivering 345hp. It tips the scales at only 1170kg!
I am looking forward to experiencing the performance first hand during our upcoming photoshoot and road test. Stay tuned!
