Marketing photography for J1 LED at Westfield Carousel

Katherine at J1 LED reached out to me to see if I would be interested in photographing the new LED parking signs they, along with their partner Park Assist, had installed at the upgraded Westfield Carousel shopping centre in Cannington.

The job required a scouting day to look at all 11 sign locations and select the ones which would be best suited to providing photos which include a sense of motion from the traffic around. After organising the security clearance/access with Westfield we shot a range of shots to show the signs in differing light conditions - from daylight, to sunset and then evening.

The photos ended up being used in marketing material for J1 LED to use online and at trade shows.

New MG Motor dealership in Perth

I’ve worked with DEC PR in the past on some Rolls-Royce photography requirements, and recently they made contact in regards to one of their other clients - MG Motor. They have just opened their first standalone dealership in Australia - located in Victoria Park, WA. They wanted some strong photography of the premises and cars to use for internal and external marketing.

Exotics in the Outback 2017

Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster shoot

I was recently in Brisbane to photograph this privately owned Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster. It was specced in the stunning Verde Ithaca, only the second SV Roadster in Australia in this colour - the other residing in Adelaide.

It also has the very rare (and new) options of naked/exposed carbon fibre SV logos and gloss carbon windscreen frame.

In addition to this the owner added some personal touches like the Novitec x Vossen Forged NV1 wheels, calipers and shocks painted in Verde Ithaca, Novitec bonnet and slightly lowered all round.

Porsche 991 GT3 RS - studio photoshoot

This is the final car from my time at the Eleven40 studio in Malvern, to shoot 3 cars for private clients.

All photos were taken on my Sony A7R and utilised the lighting available for hire at the studio.

Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV - studio photoshoot

This is the next car from my day in Melbourne at the Eleven40 studio in Malvern, to shoot 3 cars for private clients.

A stunning 2010 Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV. The Arancio Atlas paintwork just looked amazing under studio lights!

This example has a few unique features such as the custom designed logo on the side (in the same font as the original SV), a 1 of 1 Innotech Performance exhaust and it has been signed by Valentino Balboni.

All photos were taken on my Sony A7R.

Framed automotive prints

I recently had a photoshoot for a private client which involved shooting her boyfriends HSV VE GTS in South Perth, as he was completely set on having a city backdrop. Her gift to him for Christmas was a 1 metre+ framed print of a few of my shots from the night. See the finished product below.

Ferrari 458 Speciale - studio shoot

I recently flew to Melbourne for a day at the Eleven40 studio in Malvern, to shoot 3 cars for private clients.

One of these was a Ferrari 458 Speciale, one of my favourite cars ever since driving one in Sydney a couple of years ago.

Ferrari LaFerrari visits Perth

This week the Ferrari Club of Australia hosted its annual National Rally, with WA being the venue for 2016. This means plenty of local and interstate Ferraris on our roads and race track, but one visitor stole the show.

A Melbourne based owner decided to bring his $3.5m Swiss-registered LaFerrari to Perth for the event. This hypercar uses a 6.3L V12 and electric motor to produce 963hp.

Rolls-Royce Dawn arrives in Perth

I was recently contacted by Rolls-Royce Asia Pacific (Singapore) to photograph their new Perth Rolls-Royce dealership and stunning new model, the Dawn.

The shoot was done over a number of early mornings and evenings with countless more hours spent on post production. All images were taken on my Sony A7R (with either Zeiss 55mm or Zeiss 16-35mm) and used a combination of natural light, light painting and strobe (Profoto B1).
